Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, hire, schedule, assign, and supervise legal assistants and administrative staff
- Oversee court assignments for Legal Assistants and Junior Attorneys
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions to support staff development
- Conduct monthly staff meetings, prepare agendas, and distribute manuals and updated policies
- Manage performance evaluations, provide coaching, and recommend disciplinary action when necessary
- Maintain and organize case and project files in compliance with legal protocols and court rules
- Support attorneys in trial preparation, including exhibits, trial binders, and appellate briefs
- Manage litigation software calendars, update case statuses, and track key deadlines
- Monitor and adapt to changes in statutes, court rules, and legal procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in law, business administration or related field of study and 2 years professional experience in job offered, or in a Human Resources Manager or senior paralegal capacity

Job Summary:
Our principal office located in Queens, New York is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Immigration Attorney with a robust background in immigration law to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree or its equivalent and be admitted to practice law in the US (any jurisdiction) .
Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation and Representation:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation and preparation on petitions based on family of Spouses of a U.S. Citizen, Spouse of a U.S. Citizen awaiting approval of an I-130 Immigrant Petition, Fiancé to marry U.S. Citizen and live in U.S., Certain Family Members of U.S. Citizens, Certain Family Members of Lawful Permanent Residents, Adjustment of Status, Consular applications, Preparation of interviews before the government agencies, among other classifications.
- Assist clients with legal advice and preparation on visa applications based on employment, such as Immigrant Work Visas, O-1 Extraordinary Ability Visas, Seasonal Agricultural Work Visas, J- Visas, H- Visas, Exchange Visitor Visas, Student Visas, among others.
- Assist clients with legal advice and preparation on applications based on the Violence Against Women Act system (VAWA), U nonimmigrant visa, I-601, Application for Waiver of Grounds of Inadmissibility, among other Immigration reliefs.
- Understanding and providing representation on clients regarding Application for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal before the government agencies and the Immigration Court
- Developing and implementing strategies to address complex immigration issues,
- Representing clients in Family and immigration Courts well as before government agencies such as the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE),
- Conducting legal research and analysis, preparing clients and witnesses for court,
- Preparing and filing legal documents including petitions, briefs, and appeals.

Legal Research and Analysis:
- Stay abreast of current immigration laws, regulations, and policies at the federal and state levels.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to ensure accurate and effective legal advice and representation.

Case Management:
- Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring timely progression and resolution of cases.
- Prepare, review, and file immigration petitions, applications, and legal documents.
- Communicate with clients and government agencies to track case status and address any issues.

Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, documentation, and records.
- Draft legal briefs, memoranda, and correspondence as needed.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural requirements.

Client Advocacy and Support:
- Advocate for clients’ interests during interactions with immigration authorities and other relevant entities.
- Provide support and guidance throughout the legal process, addressing any concerns or challenges faced by clients.

Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and other professionals to provide comprehensive legal services.
- Contribute to the development of firm policies and procedures related to immigration law practice.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or its equivalent, Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree. And admission to practice law (any US jurisdiction). Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing immigration law, with demonstrated expertise in various immigration processes and procedures.
